MyParkScotland is an innovative programme developed by Greenspace Scotland. It raises funds for improving, and encouraging the use of, public parks in Scotland.
BOLD marketing were hired to deliver the branding and launch campaign for the programme. Graphics.coop worked as part of the extended team to develop the website — the central tool for the project.
The website lets visitors search and browse information about public parks. They can donate or crowdfund projects for public parks, post suggestions for park improvements and contact local ‘Friends of Park’ groups. They can also apply to start their own park project, advertise events in public parks and share stories about public parks.
The first phase of the project covered Edinburgh and Glasgow, with plans to roll out to other Local Authorities across Scotland in the future.
